About the Role:
The Armed Gatehouse Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of the premises in Pompano Beach, FL. This position involves monitoring access points, ensuring that only authorized personnel and vehicles enter the property. The officer will be responsible for conducting regular patrols and responding to any security incidents or emergencies that may arise. A key outcome of this role is to create a secure environment that fosters peace of mind for employees and visitors alike. Ultimately, the Armed Gatehouse Security Officer serves as a visible deterrent to potential threats while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and vigilance.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid state-issued firearm permit and completion of required training.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
Valid D And G License Required
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in CPR and First Aid.
Experience with surveillance systems and security technology.
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities:
Monitor and control access to the facility by checking identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify and address any security concerns or irregularities.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs to ensure compliance with security protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed to enhance overall security measures.
