Job Summary:
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team at Skyway Theatre. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment during events, enforcing venue policies, and providing excellent customer service to our patrons. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team while working in the fast-paced world of live music events.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain the safety and security of all venue spaces during events, including front-of-house, backstage, and crowd areas
Conduct ID checks and bag searches upon entry to ensure compliance with venue policies
Perform routine patrols of the venue to identify and address potential safety hazards or security concerns
Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, providing immediate assistance and de-escalating situations when necessary
Provide crowd control during events, ensuring safe movement of patrons and maintaining order
Assist with emergency evacuation procedures when required
Offer exceptional customer service by interacting with patrons in a professional and friendly manner

Qualifications:
Previous security or customer service experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure or emergency situations
Excellent conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Flexible schedule, with the ability to work nights, weekends , and holidays
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time during events
Knowledge of crowd management and safety protocols is a plus
