***First Response is the PREMIER patrol service in the PNW. We are looking for the BEST OF THE BEST to join our patrol division. It is mandatory to have 2 years of prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military OR 3 years of customer service experience. Applicants that do not meet this requirement will not be considered for this role.***
Position:Patrol Security Officer
Office Location:4970 SW Griffith Dr, Beaverton, OR 97005
Schedule Available:
Wednesday – Saturday 2100-0700
Saturday – Tuesday 0700-1700
Tuesday – Friday 2100-0700
Pay:$23.00/hr (Bi-weekly on the 10th and 25th, on time, every time – never miss a paycheck!)

An ideal candidate will have the following:
Minimum 2 years of security/military/or law enforcement experience (mandatory requirement)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and the ability to stay organized/on task
Customer service minded – prides themselves on being able to help others
Honest, trustworthy, dependable, and a strong work ethic
Ability to obtain or currently posses a valid Guard Card (DPSST) – We have an in house trainer and several options to help you gain this credential
Ability to pass a background check/drug screen/driving record check
Current and valid driver’s license
High school diploma/GED
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Security is the profession of prevention. We are not law enforcement officers. Our primary function is not to chase down criminals or catch the “bad guys”. Our job is to deter or prevent negative activity and modify behavior by educating individuals as to the rules and regulations of the client’s property.
It is imperative that officers know how to conduct themselves in a professional manner, which is to say, not get angry or overly aggressive. Officers must have the ability to articulate their position and communicate effectively – this is not an armed position but has the potential to become armed after being employed with First Response for a minimum of 1 year of employment, or if you have 4 years of armed security experience.
Duties will include:
Conduct vehicle patrols, foot patrols, and provide response services to client homes and businesses to ensure their safety
