We have a need for a Security Alarm and low voltage technician with experience installing fire and Access Control systems. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skill level.
The primary role of this position is to install, program, test, service, and troubleshoot Fire alarm and access control systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Services, troubleshoots and repairs low voltage systems, wiring and devices.
Test and Inspection of systems.
Installation of Fire Alarm and Access Control systems.
Programming of systems when needed.
Educate and train end users on system operation and functionality.
Maintains the necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).
Ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
Utilize our field service units (iPad) for time management and documentation.
Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Skills & Experience):
Possess astrong work ethicwithattention to detail.
Must have solid experience in the low voltage industry.
Must have knowledge of programming commercial Fire Alarm and Access control systems.
A working knowledge of local/national fire alarm codes.
Must be able to read plans, use a variety of tools and install panels, boxes and wiring accordingly.
OSHA 10 or higher is preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license. Candidate would be subject to pre-employment drug test and background check.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and industrial work environments.

Must be able to work a full-time Monday through Friday, also participate in our “on-call” rotation with other technical staff.
