Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our organization by implementing security protocols, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to incidents as they arise. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a proactive approach to loss prevention.
Event Staff / Bar Security
Runs a little different, access control, check IDS, roam area inside and out, post up at spots, detect and deter as well as assure all clients policy’s are bein followed.
Responsibilities
Monitor and operate CCTV systems to ensure the safety of premises and personnel.
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Implement security measures and protocols in accordance with company policies.
Provide first aid and CPR as necessary during emergencies, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing detailed reports on incidents.
Assist in training staff on security awareness and emergency procedures.
Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for review.
Skills
Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset towards safety and security issues.
