Title – Application Security Engineer Type – Contract Location – Onsite Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for applications and systems. Develop and enforce secure design patterns to mitigate security vulnerabilities. Perform research on various technology stacks to identify security risks and recommend mitigations. Provide threat remediation recommendations and collaborate with development teams to implement security best practices. Stay ahead of the curve by exploring emerging security risks in
modern
technologies, including Generative AI and Quantum Computing .
Preferred Qualifications
&
Experience:
Strong background in Application Security , including threat modeling, secure development, and risk assessments.
Hands-on experience
in security architecture and design within
modern
application environments. Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CEH, or equivalent are highly preferred. Experience working with development teams to implement security measures throughout the SDLC. Technical Skills & Areas of Expertise:
Web APIs & Mobile Security – Securing RESTful and Graph
QL APIs, mobile app security best practices. Databases Security – Protecting relational and No
SQL databases from common security threats. Cloud Security

Experience with
securing cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP . Emerging Tech Risks – Knowledge or research experience in areas such as Generative AI and Quantum Computing security.
