The Event Security Officer is responsible for overseeing the safety and security of our clients and employees.
Event Security Officer – Summary:
The Flex Security Officer is responsible for providing guests with a confident and positive impression of their event host. This impression is created by providing guests with accurate event information and assisting them with security questions regarding the event. Event Security will work cohesively with all site staff and security employees to maintain a superior guest service level.
Event Security Officer – Responsibilities:
Clock in and out of work using the Officer reports app.
Fill out a DAR for each shift.
Follow the event manager’s directions and be willing to help when needed.
Monitor entry and exit points to specific worksite areas, including but not limited to checking badges before entering the event area.
Provide guests accurate event and venue information.
Enforce facility policies (i.e., no smoking) and procedures throughout the event.
Respond to emergencies as necessary.
Aid in the direction of the orderly evacuation of the building during emergencies.
Deal with patron problems and complaints up to the level where intervention by a Security Supervisor is required.
Hours of work include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Job Requirements:
Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen, federal background check, and fingerprinting. This process takes between 2- 3 weeks to be processed.
Must be willing to work on-call/ as needed, as staff members calling off work is unpredictable.
Two years of security, police, military experience is preferred.
First Aid/CPR/AED certification is preferred. Watson Express will provide training within 90 days if you aren’t certified.
Must have a smartphone to access the company security guard management reporting app.
Security guards will use this app for clocking in and out of work and daily activity reporting.
With or without reasonable accommodation, this job’s physical and mental requirements may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
Must have a reliable transportation and a valid ID.
Must have flexibility within the schedule and available for weekend and holidays
Event Security officer – Pay & Benefits:
Starting $20/hour based on experience/site location
