Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional – Unarmed. The Security Professional will conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols (interior and/or exterior) in a hospital environment. Duties include access control, CCTV monitoring, report writing, and deterring misconduct. Due to the role’s safety-sensitive nature, candidates must pass drug screening, and possibly TB tests and vaccinations.
Responsibilities
Perform security patrols of hospital grounds; document observations of security concerns or hazards.
Assist hospital staff with de-escalation and restraining if necessary.
Transport patients to the morgue, escort patients from helicopter pads, assist during evacuations, and respond to emergencies.
Monitor alarms, control access, and ensure only authorized personnel enter the premises.
Investigate incidents and prepare reports.
Qualifications (must Have)
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle
Minimum two years of relevant experience in customer service or protective services
At least 18 years old
Ability to operate communication equipment
Effective communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Military or law enforcement experience or related training
Degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, or related field
Active military service of 8+ years
