Job Title: Security Reference Data Analyst
Job Description:
The Security Reference Data Analyst is responsible for accurately setting up and maintaining securities (including stocks, bonds, and derivatives) required for immediate trading while ensuring that all daily operational deadlines are met.
This position operates under minimal supervision and is directly accountable for completing checklist tasks and daily processes. The analyst should develop an in-depth understanding of their role and a working knowledge of related disciplines within the Middle Office.
Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with trading, compliance, operations, relationship managers, technology teams, and vendors to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for all stakeholders. The analyst will also lead or assist with projects and work streams related to security reference data across the firm.
A successful candidate will approach their work with a desire to understand the underlying processes and rationale. They will participate in cross-departmental and cross-divisional initiatives aimed at improving accuracy, generating efficiencies, and reducing risk. Comfort with change is essential, as each day can bring different challenges, and the organization is focused on implementing impactful system improvements.
Requirements:
– Experience in the Middle Office, specifically with Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) or Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) is preferred.
