JOB SUMMARY: Join the Kansas City Chiefs’ elite security team at The University of Kansas Health System Training Complex and GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. As a Security Officer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our personnel, fans, vendors, and facilities. This role demands vigilance, service excellence, and decisive action in both routine operations and emergency situations.

Essential Accountabilities

Facility Security Oversight: Monitor security systems, procedures, and conduct regular patrols to ensure compliance with established protocols.

Emergency Response Coordination: Serve as a key responder during emergencies by coordinating with internal teams, local law enforcement, and emergency services to manage crisis situations effectively.

Crowd Management: Implement effective crowd control measures and protocols to manage large gatherings, ensuring safety and orderly conduct.

Asset Protection: Safeguard valuable assets and property through regular patrols, monitoring, and proactive risk mitigation strategies.

Collaboration & Training: Work with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver security programs, fostering a culture of awareness and preparedness.

Incident Documentation & Analysis: Accurately document safety and security incidents, conduct post-incident analysis, and recommend corrective actions to enhance security measures.

Access Control Management: Oversee access control systems to ensure authorized personnel receive appropriate access while maintaining the integrity of secure areas.

Security Technology Utilization: Leverage advanced security technology and tools to enhance surveillance capabilities, streamline operations, and improve response times.

Minimum Qualifications

Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

High School Diploma or GED (preference given to candidates with post-secondary education or training).

Ability to obtain and maintain a Class A Patrol Agent License from the Kansas City Private Officers Licensing Unit, with a clear understanding of its legal authority.

Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

CPR and/or First Aid certified.

Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.

Strong physical fitness and endurance, with the ability to perform extensive walking or patrolling.

Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills for managing diverse interactions.

Physical Requirements

Frequent walking/standing for prolonged periods.

Ability to lift, carry, or push up to 75 lbs.

Exposure to varying weather conditions during outdoor assignments
