JOB PURPOSE
The Security Senior Manager is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies to safeguard the company’s assets, employees, and operations. This role ensures a secure environment and culture by managing security operations, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating crisis management efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop Security Policies
:
Create and enforce security policies and procedures to protect company assets and ensure employee safety.
Risk Assessment
:
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
Crisis Management
:
Develop and oversee crisis management plans, including disaster recovery, evacuation, and emergency response.
Security Operations Management
:
Oversee daily security operations, manage security personnel, and coordinate with law enforcement agencies.
Training and Development
:
Provide training programs for security staff to ensure preparedness and competence in handling security issues.
Compliance
:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal security regulations and standards.
Technology Implementation
:
Implement and manage security technologies such as surveillance systems, access control, and alarm systems.
ALL ABOUT YOU
Education
:
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience
:
Relevant experience in security management in asenior managementrole.
Certifications
:
Relevant certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) are highly desirable.
Proven track recordleading Security for a similar size company is required.
Industry Knowledge
:
Experience in the FMCG sector, particularly in the food industry, is a plus.
