Position Overview:
The Security Operations Manager will oversee and manage the company’s security operations. This includes developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and protocols and managing security personnel and resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, excellentleadershipskills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents and emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols.
– Manage and supervise a team of security personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
– Monitor and assess security operations to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
– Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
– Coordinate and oversee security-related activities, including surveillance, access control, and incident response.
– Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and other relevant authorities as needed.
– Prepare and present detailed reports on security incidents, trends, and performance metrics.
– Stay updated with security technologies, trends, and best practices.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management or a related role.
– Strong knowledge of security systems, protocols, and best practices.
– Excellentleadershipand team management skills.
– Strong analytical andproblem-solvingabilities.
– Ability to handle high-stress situations and make quick, effective decisions.
– Excellentcommunicationand interpersonal skills.
– Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP)) are a plus.
