Job Description
We are seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor. The Shift Security Supervisor will supervise and coordinate quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site. This role acts as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and security officers. Responsibilities include supervising staff, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within authorized limits.
Qualifications/Requirements
At least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to interact professionally with personnel and the public; ability to use initiative and judgment within guidelines
Ability to prepare neat, legible written reports and logs
Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions
Licensing requirements as per state/local laws, possibly required before employment
For driving positions: valid driver’s license, at least one year driving experience, clean driving record, minimum insurance as per policy, and ability to operate a vehicle safely
Successful completion of background check and drug/alcohol test; driver record check if applicable
Intermediate computer skills for using wireless technology at client sites
Ability to handle both routine and crisis situations calmly and efficiently
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Physical ability to work in various environments, lift up to 40 pounds, climb stairs or ladders, and stand or walk for long periods
