Security Shift Supervisor FT Days Position Summary
Oversees shift operations of security at assigned facility. Keeps leadership apprised of any potential security problems. Assists with development and enforcement of security policies and procedures. Develops a good working relationship with local law enforcement authorities. Assists medical staff with insuring patient safety. Prepares security reports as needed. Conducts drills. Monitors alarms and cameras. Conducts investigations, Monitors ILSM issues regarding construction project. Reviews records of employee vehicle registration for accuracy.
SPECIAL SKILLS:Ability to read, write and understand the English Language; Strong leadership skills; Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills; Ability to de-escalate tense situations; Exceptional customer service skills; Ability to lead security investigations; and Ability to handle stressful situations.
SUPERVISES:Security Staff
THE SECURITY SHIFT SUPERVISOR FT DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:High school diploma, or equivalent (i.e. GED)
PREFERRED EDUCATION:Associates Degree
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:3 years in law enforcement/security or 6 years in law enforcement/security in lieu of degree
