Position Shifts: Night and Swing Shift Available
Purpose of Position:
Provide order and protect the Casino’s property under the direction of the Security Shift Manager. Respond to all non-routine incidents in a supervisory capacity ensuring appropriate actions taken and notifications are made.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Enforce the overall duties and policies of the Security Department.
Protect the guests and their personal property.
Report on any irregularities and make recommendations on improvements to prevent further irregularities.
Supervise the performance of all Security Team Members.
Responsible for writing reports and overall supervision.
Train, inspect and evaluate Security Officers for alertness, appearance and proper performance while on duty and correct deficiencies.
Responsible for preparing evaluations and recommending disciplinary actions when required.
Responsible for communication within the Security department ensuring that information is shared with Team Members.
Act on behalf of the Security Shift Manager in their absence.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent is required unless otherwise waived by the Director of Human Resources.
Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Security Officer or related field preferred.
Two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory or management position preferred.
Previous Casino and guest service experience preferred.
Must be able to work Nights, Weekends, and Holidays
