Job Skills / RequirementsPURPOSE: Sunstates Security is seeking an experienced physical security manager to act as the security site manager at a prestigious global software company account in Raleigh. The ideal candidate should have talent acquisition experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a physical security team in a high-profile corporate environment.
Primary ResponsibilitiesSpecific Duties and Essential Functions
Serve as the primary point of contact for physical security operations in the downtown Raleigh location.
Identify and recruit new talent with the assistance of the account manager and operations manager.
Oversee all Security officer on-site training and drills to maintain a high proficiency in physical security.
Manage employee performance, identify deficiencies, and create action plans to maintain high operational readiness for all security officers.
Operational
Responsible for all site security officers’ direction, coordination, and supervision.
Train subordinates on procedural guidelines, company policies, and operational & site-specific to better serve client needs.
Experience in recruiting and hiring talented individuals.
Provide event security management for onsite events.
Scheduling, payroll, and maintaining officer quality assurance standards.
Maintain a highly functional l working relationship with the global security operation center Lead.
Friendly, professional, and courteous. Provides quality customer service and cultivates working relationships. Good communicator (both verbal and written).
Maintains and updates post orders, emergency response procedures, and applicable officer training content.
Act as emergency response team leader.
The Ideal Candidate
Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications
Must possess a high school diploma with one or more of the following:
Minimum of 2-4 years of verifiable and successful experience in physical security management in a corporate setting.
Associate’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, or Business management.
Comparable law enforcement or military background.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements…
