Job Description Summary:

Supports the effort to provide risk mitigation efficiently and effectively, provide security oversight and asset (People, Assets, & Brand) protection within several locations.

Provides comprehensive security services to assigned location(s), coordinating and communicating with others as needed, including: peers, management, legal and other internal resources, and external resources, including law enforcement.

Serves as a key member of the operations organization, with a mindset to solve problems. Tracks and reports on key Security network goals and metrics.

Effectively addresses product loss mitigation, physical security considerations, and potential workplace violence incidents by means of investigations and conducting interviews when appropriate.

Serves as department’s liaison to engage, coach, and train business partners on security matters as the security subject matter expert.

Uses Quality Driven Management tools/process to challenge current practices to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet or exceed the customer expectations.

Works in an industrial environment and must adhere to all safety considerations.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree/equivalent.

Must have at least one-year minimum experience.

Strong interpersonal communication, writing skills, and an inquisitive mindset.

Knowledge of Microsoft based computer programs and the ability to prepare detailed reports.

Non-covered safety sensitive position; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

If required to carry a firearm as part of job duties, subject to random drug testing.

Travel may be necessary.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:

Ability to identify criminal acts committed against the company; investigate and identify responsible parties.

Background in burglary alarm, access control systems and Closed-Circuit TV (CCTV) technologies.

Ability to direct complex investigations.

Experience in courtroom testimony pertaining to presentation of evidence, criminal law violations and civil court proceedings.

Ability to adequately document and manage case files.

Ability to conduct covert surveillances as needed.

Ability to attend and successfully complete advanced training in Risk and Vulnerability Assessment and other specialized training.

Ability to track expenditures for budget review.

Ability to work independently and as a team member.
