**Position Description**
You will serve as a Security Specialist in the Security Department, Operations Division of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.
**Position Duties/Responsibilities**
You will support the COMSEC Manager in all aspects of COMSEC account day-to-day operations and administration of the NAWCWD COMSEC account.
You will provide physical security of over 2000 line items of U.S. and Allied classified communications material and equipment for NAWCWD Point Mugu, CA and tenant commands.
You will provide administrative support in the development, formulation, implementation, and management of policy in all matters (technical and administrative) regarding COMSEC and its support of Local Element (LE) and visiting units.
You will perform spot checks and training assist visits on LE commands to ensure proper handling and safeguarding procedures of COMSEC material are being observed.
You will provide administrative support to develop and implement the command’s written COMSEC policy and procedures with particular emphasis on material accountability, two-person integrity, security, and identification of improper practices.
