Full Job Description
Duties
DUTY 1: Implements and administers the SAP information Security Program protecting the enterprise fromespionage, terrorism, and threats of unauthorized disclosure and/or compromise of information or materialconsidered vital to enterprise mission interests, national defense, or national security.
DUTY 2: Directs the Administration of the Information Systems Security Program to ensure secure accomplishmentof the enterprise’s missions, goals, and objectives through proactive application of security principles, policies, and practices.
DUTY 3: Directs the Personnel Security Program and Provides policy interpretation and guidance for the Personnel Security Program for the System Program Officers, government agencies and all entities involved in the SAP.
DUTY 4: Directs the Physical Security Program for the protection of classified national security information, both Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Special Access Programs (SAPs), and collateral information.
DUTY 5: Provides policy oversight and interpretation to staff agency security managers and Contractor Program Security Officers (CPSO) in implementing security education and motivation programs.

All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.

The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
Incumbent will be subject to psychological screening / Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph as an inherent primary requirement of their position.
The employee will be required to work overtime as dictated by mission requirements.
The employee will be required to maintain a valid driver’s license.
Professional staff (pro-staff) Suitability Investigations (PSI): The incumbent must undergo an internal background investigation by AFOSI and must be approved for duty by the Commander of AFOSI or the Commander’s designated representative(s).
Qualifications
This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the “Professional” work category are at the “Full Performance” work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee’s salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee’s qualifications in relation to the job.
