The Position:

AMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Security Specialist (CSSO)-Senior to support Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test & Evaluation. Thesalary rangeof this position is $95,000.00 – $, and is commensurate with experience. This position is not eligible forremote work; on-site support is required.

A typical day as a Security Specialist (CSSO)-Senior may include:

Coordinates with the GSSO and GPM to create a secure environment for SAP operations.

Works with the ISSM/ISSO to safeguard Information Systems in the SAPF and ensures adherence to any applicable laws as well as any SCI or SAP security policies/requirements.

Supports enterprise SAP discussions and activities to comply with program expectations/requirements. Assists other office locations as needed.

Coordinates initial access eligibility determinations and creates PARs.

Maintains personnel security records for SAP programs including the use of DISS and other customer systems of record.

Conducts pre and post-travel briefings.

Oversees foreign travel and contact reporting.

Coordinates the visitor control process for SAP meetings.

Provides initial program indoctrination security briefing and securityeducation/refreshers training.

Conducts annual self-inspections and submits corrective action plans.

Creates, updates and maintains SOPs for security policies unique to their facilities and SAP.

Develops transportation plans and reproduction procedures.

Establishes and ensures compliance with the SecurityEducation, Training and Awareness (SETA) program.

Conducts briefings on reporting requirements and security incidents.

Assists the customer in the development of Program Protection Plans.

Prepares DD Form 254 and manages SAP material inventory/disposition.

Coordinates with Physical Security on any program construction needs/modifications to the facility.

Conducts security inquiries, identifies suspected security infractions/violations, develops reports and makes recommendations to the government security team for corrective action(s).

Develops, coordinates, submits for approval and implements entry/exit inspection procedures for the facility.

Executes and documents completion of an annual physical inventory of Top-Secret material under the control of the facility’s registry.
