Security Specialist II – (ON-CALL) 2 Positions Open
Pay: $18.00 per hour.
Orlando, FL- (Onsite Only) 2 Positions Open with 2 specific shifts 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 12 a.m.

The Kind of Work You’ll be Doing:
To provide staff, guests, and asset protection for Cru’s Lake Hart Headquarters by patrolling, monitoring, and inspecting premises during one shift of 24 hours per day while communicating pertinent information as needed to appropriate people. Provide customer service support for security needs. Requires only general direction and works in a team environment, referring unusual or complex problems to the Team Leader. Provide a physical security presence and emergency response on the property.
Respond at times to handle high-stress situations, remaining professional, calm, and under control.
Provide first response in emergencies (fire evacuation, medical, accidents, etc.) and take appropriate actions as necessary; serve as a liaison with emergency personnel. Provide security presence in hostile or disruptive employee relations situations following current procedures; escort unauthorized personnel off of premises, ensuring that access policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and guidelines are enforced.
Provide services to control access and exit to and from the property and facilities as necessary; register all guests and vehicles in the computer system; check deliveries in and out and makes periodic inspection of outgoing vehicles.
Analyze security risks and safety hazards, report and correct problems; perform electronic logbook documentation and incident reports.
Must be able to lift or drag up to 200 pounds
Respond when necessary to perform CPR and use the AED in emergencies.
Test security measures daily: locks, cameras, and electronics and ensure that other security devices are functioning correctly and on at all times (cell phones, pagers, and radios)
Experience and Skills:
Education and Experience required – any combination of or equivalent to:
Criminal Justice/Security Management Certificate from college or university and
At least 2 years security experience (corporate security preferred).
Also required is a proven track record in the private security industry.
CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Required:
Valid Florida Driver License
State of Florida Security Class D License – current
