We are hiring a Security Specialist Manager to lead a team of world-class cybersecurity sellers in the Enterprise tier. As an established sales leader, you will support your team in achieving and exceeding quarterly and yearly targets by delivering end-to-end security thought leadership, strategies, and transformational customer outcomes. You will enable and empower your team to drive security wins by guiding them on planning, orchestration, and execution of end-to-end security opportunities, as well as working with internal stakeholders and partners to cross-sell and upsell. Responsibilities
Act as a thought leader in digital transformation and lead team to develop strategies that help the team to understand customer business needs; Lead the team to develop and maintain trusted relationships with C-stakeholders.
Proactively identify and leverage knowledge and orchestration of resources to resolve opportunity blockers by engaging other teams. Anticipate and coach team to identify patterns of blockers within area of expertise and drive resolution through local and global escalation.
Build your team’s competitive knowledge to empower them to influence compete strategies. Coach and provide support to your team and across internal teams to define and execute strategy. Identify cross-workload strategy opportunities. Maintain communications with internal partners. Drive competitive strategy for local markets and work with local marketing teams to shape corporate domain message. Maximize area-level capacity and capabilities of scaling through partners by coaching team to grow partner network, identifying gaps and promoting Microsoft within the partner ecosystem.
Coach team and oversee demonstrations of solutions based on multiple products and position solutions against competitors and to envision new and innovative solutions that use Microsoft technology to meet customer needs. Support team in coordinating with stakeholders to develop solutions for complex sales scenarios.
Enable and empower your team to develop security expertise, provide insights to internal teams, and participate in high quality cybersecurity communities. Act as a security thought leader by sharing best practices and consistently delivering content at Microsoft events. Ensure team members participate in cybersecurity communities and drive feedback to improve overall team member experience.
Establish and communicate performance expectations; lead team to accept change and retain performance levels while responding to changing demands. Drive execution of projects; drive a growth mindset and learning-focused culture by empowering team to focus on learning; partner and collaborate with other teams.
Deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching and caring.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 6+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.
3+ years sales management or sales executive leadership experience.

Additional/Preferred Qualifications:
9+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
OR Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 8+

years technology-related sales or account management experience

OR Master’s Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 5+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.
6+ years security solution sales experience.
Familiar with competitive security landscape.
AI experience.

Solution Area Specialists M5 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $122,400 – $216,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $166,100 – $235,000 per year.
