Duties * you will work with high-level osd officials from various offices and agencies, to find solutions and reach consensus for complex and frequently unique program protection issues. * you will lead personnel including military officers, civilians and contractors, to ensure program protection considerations, especially that security engineering designs are incorporated into the entire air system. * you will manage a multi-million dollar budget authority to provide for security staffs performing and executing to policy and guidance. * you will monitor performance and outcomes of computer scientists and system security engineers to ensure correct skillsets are matrixed to the technical and engineering ipts to overcome an array of technical security challenges. * you will independently seek solutions to problems and integrate national, dod and service(s) policies into specifically tailored guidance for the entire f-35 program, regardless of geographical location or service affiliation. * you will analyze and assess horizontal and vertical program protection requirements from the full dimension protection perspective, including traditional security disciplines such as information, personnel, industrial, and physical security. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. * successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing. * this position may require travel from normal duty station to conus and oconus and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the gs-13 grade level or da-05 pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
