Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our store shelves are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing to customers. This position requires a proactive individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring the store is secured
Duties
Receive and unload merchandise deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory counts.
Stock shelves with products in accordance with store layout and merchandising standards.
Organize and maintain backroom storage areas for easy access to inventory.
Assist customers in locating products and provide excellent customer service.
Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure product availability.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and safe shopping environment.
Report any discrepancies or issues related to stock levels or product quality.
Secure premises during operating hours.
Keep store at occupancy maximum.
Secure store from theft and unruly guests.
Qualifications
Previous experience in retail or stocking preferred but not required.
Skills in law enforcement, surveillance, loss prevention, or conflict management are advantageous.
Familiarity with systems is beneficial for maintaining store security.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
