Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Malta for a Security Supervisor. As the Security Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property. In addition to overseeing all security operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies, managing a team of security personnel, and fostering a culture of professionalism, vigilance, and excellence in security standards.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement security protocols, policies, and procedures.
Lead and supervise security team, including recruitment and training.
Conduct security assessments and risk analyses.
Coordinate with management and external stakeholders on security matters.
Manage security equipment and systems.
Maintain accurate records and reports of security incidents.
Provide leadership during crisis situations and emergency response efforts.
Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Participate in night shifts to ensure premises security and safety.
Flexibility to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
Proven experience in security management.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of security technologies and methodologies.
Understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
Holder of a Maltese Security Licence and any other certification in security management or related disciplines is desirable.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with security systems and technologies (CCTV, access control, alarm systems).
