Paladin Security is hiring for an immediate opening for Security Supervisor!
As a Security Supervisor at Paladin Security, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their assets. Your day will typically involve overseeing security operations, assessing potential risks, and managing a team of dedicated security personnel.
You’ll conduct regular inspections, provide training and support to your team, and develop strong relationships with clients while maintaining a safe environment. Your decision-making skills and excellent interpersonal abilities will be essential in handling various situations that may arise throughout your shift.
Requirements
Valid Ontario Security Guard License
Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level – C certification issued by a WSIB-approved provider
COVID-19 fully vaccinated (minimum 2 doses)
A minimum of 1 year of experience working in Security or an equivalent role
Basic computer skills, including keyboarding
Knowledge of applicable federal, provincial, and municipal legislation and regulations
Prior experience in a customer service role
Ability to commute to Toronto for pre-deployment training (4 training days, M-F)
Must provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) from an ASP provider
Nice to Have
Experience in managing a team or supervising security personnel
Knowledge of advanced security technologies and systems
Training or certification in conflict resolution or de-escalation techniques
First Aid Instructor or similar certifications
Fluency in multiple languages to enhance communication with a diverse clientele
