Security Supervisor
Full Time (Overnight)
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr + company paid benefits after 90 days
*Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsible for monitoring and supervising the security operation on an assigned shift while ensuring that courteous and prompt service is provided by department employees. Assists in protecting all casino assets and ensuring that the department is running efficiently and safely within the guidelines of the Wyandotte Nation Operation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and objectives.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; documenting concerns and discipline; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
Education/Experience:
High School graduate or GED Certification preferred.
At least 2 years of security experience preferred.
Past supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge of Wyandotte Nation Gaming Rules and Regulations.
Knowledge of Wyandotte Nation Standard Operating Procedures
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Safeguard assets of the company.
Take the initiative to evaluate customers for intoxication, evaluate them competently and in a timely manner.
Follow and comply with the Wyandotte Nation Gaming rules and regulations regarding the process, and follow thru of intoxicated patrons.
Implements Security Department policies and procedures as directed by the Security Manager.
Supervises on a shift basis, all security personnel for the protection of customers, employees, and the property.
Plans and schedules all security activities for a shift.
Conducts follow-up investigations on reports as directed.
Investigates employee fraud against the property and customers as directed.
Investigates accident reports as directed.
Tours property to ensure compliance with gaming rules and regulations.
Prevents the entrance of unauthorized or inebriated persons, paying particular attention to individuals under 21 years of age.
Knowledgeable of Security officer duties.
Monitors weather conditions and reports/contacts to MOD when severe.
Ensures that proper department uniform, appearance, and grooming standards are followed.
Attends all company required training.
Complies with all Wyandotte Nation Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations and any other local, state, or federal guidelines.
Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
Adheres to all safety guidelines.
Meets company attendance requirements.
May be required to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
