ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following but are not limited to:

Responsible for leading security practices within the operation and ensuring security is performed as expected.

Responsible for recording security-related documents for instances that occur.

Guarantees the service delivery to the airline by the contracts and within the agreed budget level.

Ensures that security and protection procedures comply with the standards set out in the Security and Training Manual.

Responsible for performing investigations of incidents and conducting interviews with witnesses.

Liaisons with the managers of the service stations, airport operations managers, management agents, Customs, Immigration, and Security officials, and other interested parties of the airport.

Monitors the performance of the security force and takes measures to correct any deficit.

Guarantees immediate notification to the Manager of any audit.

Provide guidance andleadershipto the team.

Investigate and report all accidents, incidents, and irregularities.

Guarantees the service following the contracts and within the agreed budget level.

Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION, LICENSE, and/or CERTIFICATION

High school diploma or equivalent required

Must have a valid Security D License

Must have a valid Driver License

EXPERIENCE and/or KNOWLEDGE

2+ years of experience in Cargo Security with provenleadershippreferred, but not required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills)

SKILL and/or ABILITIES

Ability to speak and understand Spanish / English

Demonstrated ability to read and understand documented processes.

Ability to plan, organize, and implement in adynamic environment.

Excellent writing andcommunication skillsincluding interpersonal, negotiation, andconflict resolutionabilities.

Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with emphasis on self-initiation and follow-through.

Requiresflexibilityto work additional hours beyond the regular shift, on short notice, and as needed during irregular operations.

Must be able to obtain a SIDA Badge from the airport.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
