Security Supervisor Jobs in Naples, FL at Allied Universal
Duties and Responsibilities
As needed property visits to conduct safety and security inspections, investigations, and eviews to ensure compliance with established safety and security industry best practices policies and procedures, including human trafficking prevention efforts
Conduct human trafficking prevention awareness training at brand events and meetings
Provide expertise and participate in nuisance/abatement meetings with local law enforcement agencies and city officials to determine effective solutions to issues being encountered by specific properties
Collaborate with franchisees to proactively identify areas of exposure and develop action plans to address issues
Work with priority locations to develop action plans to address and resolve criminal/nuisance issues
Assist properties with security incidents and safety issues that they encounter and provide direction and expertise with problem resolution
Lead the Crisis Communications Team’s crisis response, provide leadership, and support to properties with safety and security incidents that are reported to the Crisis and Media Hotline
Assist law enforcement in responding to subpoenas and requests for information.
Testify as needed in criminal and civil litigation.
Provide on-going safety and security training for franchisees and all levels of operations management including continuing education classes
Participate in industry safety and security events, summits, conferences, and webinars
Any additional duties assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
5-7 years of safety & security management experience in hospitality (i.e. hotels, restaurants, retail, etc.)
3-5 years of multi-brand, multi-unit, regional or national experience
Knowledge of budgets and P&L statements.
Possess the ability to make effective, sound business decisions and the knowledge to understand the overall impact of those decisions on the organization.
Serve as the subject matter expert on safety and security to operations.
Assist in the development and on-going update of safety and security manuals, policies, procedures and programs
Effective written and oral communication skills along with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
Ability to effectively interact/communicate with all levels of operations management in the field on safety and security related matters.
Crisis management experience.
Travel approximately 40 – 50% of the time
OSHA Teaching certification is preferred
