At GardaWorld, we know your compensation is important, so we provide competitive hourly starting rates for every market we’re in. We’re growing our team here in Washington, DC:

$28.96 / hour

Daylight Shift
Evening Shift

Scheduling:
Candidates must have open availability to be considered for the position.
No set schedule.
Weekdays and weekends are required.
Days off vary.
About the job:
Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
You provide rapid response in critical situations.
You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
Effective oral and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office.
Must be proficient in all necessary AARP Programs and software for safety and security.
Must consistently maintain an excellent uniform appearance and grooming standards in accordance with GardaWorld standards.
Must be accountable and possess the ability to hold subordinate officers accountable.
Leadership or management experience required. Must be personable and have soft skills.
Your background:
You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
You have Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement supervisory experience of at least 2 years or more
You have an active unarmed DC SO or unarmed DC SPO.
You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
