We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at our facilities. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be entrusted with protecting people, property, and assets while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations.
Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activities.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
Provide assistance during conflicts or emergencies, utilizing conflict management techniques.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
Conduct loss prevention measures to minimize theft or damage.
Skills
Proficient in surveillance techniques and the use of CCTV systems.
Certified in CPR and First Aid, with the ability to respond effectively in medical emergencies.
Experience in loss prevention strategies and practices.
Background in military or law enforcement is preferred.
Strong conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations.
Ability to maintain composure under pressure while making sound decisions.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, clients, and law enforcement.
