Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Security Guard Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our security team at a bustling downtown office complex. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the property, employees, and visitors by supervising, coordinating, and evaluating the activities of security personnel.
Responsibilities:
Supervise a team of security personnel, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality security operations.
Coordinate security activities to ensure the protection of property, assets, and people.
Develop and implement security protocols and procedures in collaboration with management.
Conduct regular patrols and security checks of the premises to identify and resolve issues.
Monitor surveillance equipment and respond to alarms and security emergencies.
Maintain clear and comprehensive incident reports and daily activity logs.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
Liaise with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
Ensure compliance with legal and organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in security or law enforcement preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a security role with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of security operations and procedure as well as safety management.
Proficiency in surveillance systems and emergency response techniques.
Ability to handle crises and make swift decisions under pressure.
Available to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 40 per week
