As a Security Supervisor, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

Set schedule: Friday and Saturday, 9:30pm to 5:30am

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Supervisor
Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
Supervise Security Officers
Ensure that Garda World Security core values are integrated into and throughout all business practices
Supervise the day-to-day security service provided to the facility and ensure service is of the highest standards
Assist in the development and implementation of staffing schedules, payroll, and other reports
Ensure that operational logs, records, and post orders are maintained appropriately
Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and employees
Assist in the selection, orientation, training, and continual development of staff
Maintain goal of zero safety incidents while managing a robust safety culture
Regularly review security officer schedules and staffing levels
Be ready to respond to any operational emergency
Direct, supervise, and support shift officers
Recommend, nominate, and distribute rewards and recognition
Responsible for corrective action and discipline of subordinate officers
Supervise & manage employees on your shift at your assigned job site
Maintain a healthy, professional relationship with our client
Exercise independent judgment and sound decision-making in performing all duties
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications of a Security Supervisor
Be authorized to work in the U.S.
Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
Ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
Strong report writing skills
Good eyesight and excellent abilities to maintain focus
Strong proficiency with technology
Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
