Security Supervisor FT Jobs in Wilmington, NC at Regional Security
Nighttime Security Supervisor, Weekday and Weekend Evenings
Off-duty Law Enforcement and active-duty Military or Veterans – strongly preferred
Requirements:
Must be available to work weekday and weekend nights, the majority of every month.
Must be 18 years or older (21 years or older, Armed Guard, per NC state law)
Valid DL and clean driving record for past 3-5 years
Must complete NC-required security training and minimum 90% weapon(s) qualification (Armed)
Must be able to pass SBI background check, drug screening, etc.
The contract requires officers wearing uniform, duty belt, and body armor (armed) to be seated, standing, walking, and climbing stairs, inside or outside, up to 50 min per hour in all weather.
Have critical thinking skills and the ability to work through complex problems
Possess a high degree of professionalism, responsibility, and maturity
Ability to communicate, persuade, and instruct others during high-stress situations
**Applicants with experience in security, mounted/dismounted patrolling, detainee handling, weapons handling and weapon instructions, non-lethal experience/certified – strongly preferred
