We are currently looking for a Full Time Security Supervisor I to join our Gold Mountain Security Sub Unit 1 team located at the Gold Mountain Casino working .

Summary:
Supervises a team of security guards that are responsible for monitoring company grounds to people and property. Provides first level supervision (usually supervises less than 25 positions) and may perform full security officer job functions.

Shares responsibilities for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment
Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment
Observes and addresses potential environmental hazards and risks
Maintains and promotes professionalism
Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
May provide break coverage for others as assigned
May augment staff in other areas as needed based on staffing and needs ratio in regularly assigned unit
Maintain knowledge of and follow all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
Maintains files, logs, and records
Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information
Ensures employees and resources complete assigned training and development
Maintain knowledge of and enforce all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
Prepares weekly reports
Mentors, coaches, develops and assists in training in assigned area
Assigns, reviews, monitors and ensures performance of assigned staff for area of responsibility
Participates in candidate selection process
Assigns tasks and responsibilities of assigned staff
Reviews and documents work effectiveness of assigned staff
Coaches and corrects assigned staff through performance deficiencies
Observes and documents work behaviors of assigned staff
Ensures cooperative and respectful work relationship of assigned staff including interpersonal training and resolving internal issues
Ensures compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines for assigned work area
May be required to act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the manager to ensure all operational standards are maintained
Maintains files, logs, and records
Communicates via radio per division and position protocols
Communicates with other team members, departments, guests and management

Follows divisional, departmental and organizational protocols

Prepares incidents reports
Monitors and ensures the safety of guests, employees and tribal assets based on assigned duty station:
– May guard facility entrances – controlling access and alarming others as necessary

Escorts patrons or guests
Escorts/monitors drop team and money carts when assigned to gaming facility
May prepare temporarty visitor IDs
Responds to security breaches
Executes internal and external patrols of assigned areas and locations
Monitors opening and closing machines for routine repairs and maintenance when assigned to gaming facility
Engages in and de-escalates contentious situations with visitors, patrons, patients, employees
Prepares daily reports
Follows guidelines to protect guests and employees in emergency situations such as inclement weather, fire, active shooter, etc.
Communicates employee concerns to the next level supervision or management and participates in investigations while maintaining confidentiality; effectively resolves all minor concerns or complaints
Ensures all audits, reports and other operational communications are accurate and timely
Completes a variety of standard and ad hoc reports as required
Assists staff with accomplishing goals
Ensures staff stays in assigned areas
Investigates and resolves discrepancies
Resolves minor employee concerns
Communicates area performance and operational information to line of support
Approves/denies time off requests
In a timely manner, assists in resolving customer and employee complaints not resolvable by subordinates by listening, investigating and answering questions
Interviews and selects job candidates
May perform tasks, duties and responsibilities of subordinate roles
All other duties as assigned
