Security Support Specialist Jobs in San Jose, CA at Staffcare

Responsibilities

Evaluates network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations.
Performs analysis of network needs and contributes to network architecture, integration, and installation design.
Works with integrators to ensure that the computer system platform provides sufficient computing resources to deliver the desired level of business performance.
Coordinates with other departments to understand and meet their requirements.
Checks systems to optimize performance and initiate recovery action after system failures.
Supports control systems access and security process and procedure.
Verifies service by testing and re-programming circuits, equipment, and alarms.
Identify and correct problems for physical security access control and video management platforms, including responding to system alerts and alarms.
Coordinates third-party maintenance for network hardware, software, and physical security systems services.
Develops or establishes strong relationships with service providers.
Prepares and maintains documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.
Maintains and tests disaster recovery plans.

Required Skills:

A bachelor’s degree, equivalent certifications, or equivalent work experience in the industry.
Networking Certification
Minimum eight years of experience with advanced knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with Genetec PACS and VMS
Experience with Lenel
Problem Solving/Analysis.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $30.00 – $38.00 per hour
