Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Engineer to join our team. As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining security systems to protect our organization’s assets. Your expertise in alarm system sales, mechanical knowledge, computer hardware, cabling, locksmithing abilities, blueprint reading, and system design will be crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities.
Responsibilities:
– Design and implement security systems based on organizational needs and requirements
– Install and configure security equipment such as alarms, cameras, access control systems, and sensors
– Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of security systems to ensure optimal performance
– Perform system upgrades and enhancements as necessary
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security systems with other IT infrastructure
– Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential security threats
– Develop and implement security policies and procedures to safeguard company assets
– Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in security technology
Experience:
– Proven experience in alarm systems, build, installation, and maintenance
– Strong mechanical knowledge for installing and configuring security equipment
– Proficiency in computer hardware and networking principles
– Familiarity with cabling techniques for connecting security devices
– Relevant certifications or related field is preferred
– Ability to detect vulnerabilities in existing systems.
– Proficient in blueprint reading for understanding building layouts and infrastructure requirements
– Experience in system design for developing comprehensive security solutions
