We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a strong presence, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Armed Security Officer will utilize their training in loss prevention, surveillance, and conflict management to ensure the safety of the premises.
Responsibilities
Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to identify potential security threats.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches or incidents, documenting findings accurately.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Provide assistance in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or fraud.
Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations.
Experience
Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Proven skills in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
Familiarity with conflict management practices and emergency response protocols.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
