Job Description:
A Security Tester Lead is a senior-level cybersecurity professional who is responsible for leading and overseeing security testing activities to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in an organization’s systems, networks, and applications. They play a crucial role in ensuring the security posture of the organization by proactively identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
Experience: 8-10 Years
Responsibilities:
Leading and Mentoring:Provide technical expertise and guidance while leading, mentoring, and guiding a team of security testers.
Test Planning and Strategy:Develop and implement security testing strategies, plans, and methodologies in line with industry best practices and standards.
Vulnerability Assessment:Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify security flaws and weaknesses in systems, networks, and applications.
Risk Analysis:Analyze security test results, assess potential risks, and provide actionable recommendations for remediation.
Reporting and Documentation:Prepare detailed reports documenting security testing activities, findings, and recommendations for stakeholders and decision-makers.
Collaboration:Collaborate with IT teams, cybersecurity professionals, and stakeholders to implement security measures and improve systems.
Tool Management: Manage security testing tools and technologies.
Research and Development:Stayup-to-datewith the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and testing methodologies.
Training and Awareness:Provide training and support to other team members on security best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Proven experience in security testing, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment.
Strong understanding of security concepts, principles, and best practices.
Experience with security testing tools and technologies.
Excellent analytical,problem-solving, andcommunication skills.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP are a plus.
Knowledge of Acunetix and Synx advantage.
