WEEKDAY SECURITY DUTIES ▪ Pay Rate: $14.00/hr ▪ Dress Code: Black or Khaki Pants with a Collar Shirt ▪ Shift: Monday-Friday 3:30pm–11pm ▪ Clock in & out for your shift – No more than 7-minutes early/late unless approved prior ▪ Do NOT give out staff numbers to residents, visitors, etc. unless permission is given ▪ All visitors, caregivers, etc. MUST sign in and out & they MUST get greeted ▪ Complete resident wellness checks ▪ Must be able to lift 30lbs ▪ Answer incoming calls on the security/emergency cell phone; take messages as needed ▪ Take dinner orders for residents ▪ Label packages on the white table with the apartment they’re addressed to ▪ Pharmacy deliveries should be left locked in Director’s office – do NOT call Judy Pryor ▫ Call resident it’s delivered & lock it up or leave at the front desk until they pick it up ▪ Check the notebook for the week for important events that happened prior to your shift ▫ This is EXTREMELY important as this is how information gets passed along ▪ Communicate important information to your relief that happened during your shift ▪ Reporting relationship (Kenny Thomas-Security Manager & Shannon Jacobs-ED) ▪ Missed punch form (see Briana-BOM, paperwork is located by time clock) ▪ Respond to emergency pendants – message on pager will show which apartment to go to, call 911 if needed & submit an incident report (located in blue folder). ▫ Use magnet on name tag to clear pendant ▫ Do NOTlift or do CPR, call resident’s emergency contact (blue folder) ▪ Fire Alarm PROTOCOL – in blue folder ▪ Electricity/Internet Outage PROTOCOL – in blue folder ▪ Electricity/Internet Down PROTOCOL – in blue folder ▪ Apartment/Community Tour PROTOCOL – in blue folder Powered by JazzHR
