In this role, you will develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to enhance the security awareness and skills of our personnel, ensuring they are prepared for a wide range of security challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Program Development & Support:
Assist in the development of training programs for Spark Security personnel.
Contribute to the creation of pre-selection training programs for new projects and mobilizations.
Assist the training team in addressing specific training challenges and providing one-on-one or group solutions.
Training Delivery & Evaluation:
Deliver training sessions in person to enhance security awareness and operational readiness.
Evaluate training materials and ensure that all programs meet intended objectives and requirements.
Continuously update training content based on feedback and evolving needs.
Client Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate with the Training Manager and customer representatives to understand client needs and tailor training programs accordingly.
Work closely with clients to ensure their expectations are met and recommend measures for program improvement.
Security Assessments & Contingency Planning:
Develop site-specific contingency plans and conduct periodic mock drills to assess readiness.
Perform “mystery shopper” assessments at client sites (e.g., banks, malls, offices) to evaluate the quality of security services and personnel responses.
Reporting & Planning:
Establish yearly training plans and communicate them to clients for approval.
Provide regular reports on training activities and progress to internal teams and clients.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field.
Experience:
2-3 years of relevant experience in teaching, training, or security supervision.
Strong ability to engage and inspire individuals in a training environment.
Experience in managing or supervising special events and delivering security training.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Creative and innovative, with the ability to develop engaging training materials (SOPs, job descriptions, site-specific policies).
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently to lead training initiatives.
Confident and professional in the field of physical security.
Ability to conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability evaluations.
Other Requirements:
Proficiency in creating clear, high-quality written training materials.
Ability to work effectively with both internal teams and clients to achieve training goals.
