Roles And Responsibilities
Proactively identify gaps to detectpotential intrusion attempts, data exfiltration, lateralmovement
Seek out indicators of compromise andupdate security devices such as Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, Email Gateway, SIEM etc Developcustom detection rules & queries to identify threats in Cloud IaaS, PaaS, API abuse, On-premenvironments
Work in coordination with Security Operation Center to monitor security logs of all technology assetsto detect anomalies and threats. Address cloud specific attackvectors such Identities, insecure API, data exposure due tomisconfigured storage services
Implement& maintain container security (Dev Sec Ops ) monitoringsolutions to ensure the integrity & security ofcontainerized application running in cloudenvironment
Utilize API security tools tomonitor & protect cloud API from abuse, unauthorisedaccess, and injection attacks
Investigateincidents and review security logs of critical businessapplications & infrastructure on regularbasis
Implement serverless security monitoringanomaly detection to detect potential threats targeting serverlessapplication development
Assess current securitystate and provide actionable recommendations to strengthen theenvironment of Aldar & Group subsidiaries technologylandscape
Identify & report securityincidents promptly. Follow-up with IT Admins on the status ofsecurity incidents raised by Security Operation Center (SOC).Co-ordinate with Security Operation Center team and ITAdministrators to resolve identified security incidentspromptly
Collate security incidents data& prepare Information Security Dashboard on regularbasis
Continuously review and enhance cloud& on-prem monitoring strategies, considering the emergingthreat landscape and cloud environmentchanges
Keep
up-to-date
with latest IT securitythreats and enrich security tools with latest UAE / MENA regionspecific threat intel
Qualification AndExperience
RELATED YEAR OF
EXPERIENCE:
Min of: 5 years of experience in aSecurity Assessments.
