Senior Contract Manager (Security Clearance) Jobs in Cambridge, MA at TSNpartners
Responsibilities:
● Manage the full contract lifecycle (cradle-to-grave) for complex government contracts (DoD, National Security, etc.), including CRADAs, Technical and Cooperative Agreements.
● Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communications, managing both tactical and strategic aspects of contract relationships.
● Independently develop innovative solutions to complex contractual challenges, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
● Lead contracting activities during the business winning process, mentoring junior staff and strengthening the team’s capabilities.
● Develop and execute negotiation strategies, focusing on achieving the best possible outcomes for the organization while managing risk and ensuring regulatory compliance.
● Lead compliance efforts related to the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act, mentoring junior colleagues on best practices.
● Understand and effectively communicate the relationship between business systems and contract terms and conditions.
● Manage contract closeout activities and maintain official contract records.
Required Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred (may offset 2 years of experience). High School diploma with some college and four years additional work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
● Professional certifications (CFCM, CPCM, etc.) preferred.
● 7-15 years of relevant government contracting experience; experience in the national security or aerospace and defense industry is a plus.
Required Skills & Abilities:
● Deep understanding of FAR/DFARS and government contracting regulations.
● Expertise in the contract lifecycle, contract types, contracting vehicles, and various scopes (R&D, production, OTAs, Commercial Contracts).
● Ability to identify and mitigate contract risks.
● Strong business acumen and analytical skills to develop sound business cases and analyze complex data.
● Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to mentor and influence.
● Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills, combined with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Knowledge of Intellectual Property considerations and strategies.
● Ability to manage a demanding workload and meet deadlines with accuracy and completeness.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and various business systems.
Security Clearance:
Active Secret security clearance is mandatory
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 – $145,000.00 per year
