Our client, a NYC Metro based industry leader is seeking a highly skilledSenior Cybersecurity Analystto lead our cybersecurity efforts and provide expert guidance on threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, along with hands-on experience in managing security operations in a complex environment.
Compensation:starting at$120,000

Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks
Monitor security alerts and events to detect and respond to potential threats
Investigate security incidents and breaches, and coordinate response efforts as needed
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure the security of systems and data
Stay current with emerging threats and trends in cybersecurity, and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks
Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or a related role
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and standards
Proficiency in security technologies including Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques, incident response procedures and forensic analysis
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
