Position Responsibilities
Process monthly payroll and associated activities including payroll calculation, execution (salaries, leave, incentives and other compensation calculations), submission of statutory contribution and reconciliation.
Ensure on time processing of the scheduled payroll runs.
Resolve issues and errors that blocks the payroll run from completion.
Timely handle payroll-related inquiries or requests from employees and meet SLA requirements.
Assist on reconciliation process with associated reports, ensure compliance and accuracy of the payroll, ensure Posting to Finance process payments timely execution including bank file.
Prepare pre and post payroll related reports including payroll summary, headcount, staff sharing cost, and other ad-hoc report.
Assist on yearly form EA preparation and form E submission.
Responsible to monitor country statutory and legal changes and ensure the changes reflect on the payroll. This includes testing the payroll system and moving the changes to production system.
Provide enhancement suggestions to achieve seamless payroll process.
Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information and maintain appropriate documentation and filing systems.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, or any related field.
3-5 years of payroll experience, preferably handling 3,000+ employees in a large-scale organization.
Strong knowledge of HR processes, HRIS systems, labour laws, tax calculations and statutory regulations.
Strong Excel skills, capable of analyzing basic data and trends.
Experience in payroll audits and compliance reporting.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with HR, Finance, and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple payroll cycles within tight deadlines.
Capability to design and implement payroll process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Experience in handling payroll for other countries is an advantage.
Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
