Role Purpose:
Responsible for maintenance and administration of entire Enterprise Networks Infrastructure including data and voice communication along with monitoring & control activities to ensure reliability, stability and security of networks infrastructure and continuity of related services
Operation Management:
Responsible for Installation, Configuration, Implementation and Administration of Communication Equipment’s/Devices (both Data and Voice) of Enterprise Network Infrastructure.
Responsible for the smooth execution of the daily operations of Enterprise Network Infrastructure.
Maintain updated inventories of hardware/ Software / Firmware
Assist Lead Network & Security / Head of Network & Infrastructure in managing the day-to-day operations /activities.
Enrich and enhance his/her job role or position and his/her subordinates.
Provide support to end-users / System Support Administrators in troubleshooting and resolving the problems relating to his/her domain.
Troubleshoots the problems, incidents, and errors pertaining to his/her domain(s) to identify the exact nature and to pinpoint the correct area for on-time resolution. Extend his/her knowledge to other Staff whenever requested/required.
Responsible for the Availability of Services of Enterprise Networks Infrastructure
Develop necessary documentation w.r.t. his/her job domain and record the configurations (i.e. logical/physical).
Comply with and implement applicable policies / procedures including enforced Information Systems Security Policy including
Preventive Maintenance & Compliance:
Managing & conducting the routine/ad-hoc preventive maintenance activities (i.e. including O/s Patches and security updates) across Enterprise Networks Infrastructure
Conduct Network and Communication device Audits within the Enterprise in accordance with the approved Audit scope (i.e. Internal/external) w.r.t. his/her domain(s).
Managing & conducting the routine/ad-hoc preventive maintenance activities of all concerned domains.
Responsible for Admin Profile Management and Service Accounts of Enterprise Network Infrastructure.
Backup & Disaster Recovery Planning:
Implement the pre-approved Disaster Recovery Plan and Backup plans for Enterprise Networks
Ensure the sanctity of all backups by performing pre-approved scheduled restore activities.
Responsible for the backup media management and handling w.r.t. to his/her domain.
Perform Services Restoration activities in the event of a disaster at out-rage in his / her concerned domains, perform Root-CauseAnalysis (RCA) of all relevant problems, incident and errors; and ensure deployment of permanent fixes
Perform the Backup Management process which includes backup through different modes for Networks and Communication devices.
Carry out pre-approved periodic and planned drill tests for his / her concern domains and document results
Service Desk:
Closely monitor the users’ complaints/problems/errors and provide timely resolutions
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Electronics and Communication or equivalent from any reputed national / foreign educational institution.
Relevant Certification (preferably HP, AVAYA and CISCO technologies) would be a Plus.
5 to 8 years experience of managing Enterprise Network implementations
