This well-established organisation is seeking a Senior Network & Cyber Security Engineer to join its growing team. This role has accountability for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network and security solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
-Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and secure network architectures
-Evaluation existing network infrastructure and proposing enhancements
-Developing network diagrams and best practice documentation
-Designing and implementing a comprehensive cyber security strategy
-Implement security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols
-Leveraging deep knowledge of Cisco and Meraki technologies to configure, troubleshoot and maintain network devices
-Design and manage VPNs, VLANs, SDWAN and routing protocols
-Collaborate with Operational Technology teams to integrate industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA networks securely
-Develop security policies and practices for IoT devices
-Implement secure communication channels for IoT endpoints
-Investigate and analyse security incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
Knowledge & skills required:
Minimum of7+ yearsin network design and security roles.
Proven track record of successful project implementations.
Familiarity withNIST,ISO 27001, and other security frameworks.
Knowledge ofOT securityprinciples andIoT securitybest practices.
Strong background in project implementation, BAU and support environments
Extensive experience in networks operation and maintenance
CCIE certified with an excellent knowledge of Cisco networking products and solutions
