Senior Project Manager – Electronic Security Systems Jobs in Sterling, VA at Diversified
Hiring Part-time Armed Security Officers.
Will mainly be working Friday and Saturday nights.

The security officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations throughout out various times of the day. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
Responsibilities may include:
Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and deter theft/trespassing
Provide access control
Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
Monitor surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
Provide assistance to people in need
Submit reports of daily activity and incidents
Necessary Skills
Responsible, honest, and dependable.
Prior security officer experience
Familiarity with report writing
Excellent surveillance and observation skills
Basic computer skills
Minimum Requirements:
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
Licensing requirements are subject to VA DCJS laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required.
Be at least 21 years of age for Armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. SRSI will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Candidate must have transportation.
Must Have VA ARMED DCJS card.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS
