This role is more than just a jo b—it’s your chance to make a tangible differen ce! As a Senior Security Analyst, you will:
Leverage your experience with SIEM tools to monitor systems, identify vulnerabilities, and detect threats. Play an integral role in analysing security events, prioritising and escalating incidents as necessary, and supporting incident responders with expert advice. Conduct malware forensics, performing detailed research to understand and mitigate threats. Be responsible for endpoint monitoring and analysis to uncover suspicious activity . Serve as the escalation lead for security-related incidents, providing advice to differentiate high intrusion attempts from false positives.
The ideal Senior Security Analyst will have:
Experience with
Microsoft Windows operating systems and Active Directory Group Policies, such as TCP and DNS. An understanding of security tools, including Anti-Malware, Web and Email Gateways, and Firewalls. In-depth knowledge of computer forensics , including legal and governmental frameworks, operating systems, and intelligence gathering and sharing methods. A strong understanding of cloud computing , computer network defence, identity management, incident management, and network security .
Desirable qualifications for a Senior Security Analyst:
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+.
Experience with
