The European Public Prosecutor’s Office, the independent public prosecution office of the European Union, is seeking applications for the position ofSenior Security Assistant.
The Senior Security Assistant will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating corporate security risks. This role is critical to safeguarding organisational assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a robust security culture.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Under the responsibility of the Head of Security Unit, your tasks will include, but not be limited to the following:
Conduct security risk assessments;
Manage outsourced security-related contracts, ensuring the quality of services provided;
Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk register for security-related threats and update security controls;
Identify vulnerabilities and propose effective risk mitigation strategies;
Evaluate the adequacy of security measures;
Develop and implement policies to enhance the protection of personnel, facilities, and assets;
Collaborate with other teams to strengthen security posture;
Create and implement training programs to increase organizational security awareness;
Analyse patterns from investigations to identify systemic risks and recommend preventive measures;
Prepare detailed reports for management, summarising findings, risks, and recommendations.
